So my audition on Monday was pretty kick ass. Went in did my shit, and the director said he was very pleased. I have to admit, I cheated a little...
The Saturday before, I realized that the writer/director's email address was on the script. On Sunday night I emailed him saying how wonderful I thought the script was(and it is fantastic) I thanked him for writing about women of strength.
Now, I didn't tell him that I would be in to audition the next day. I figured he would remember my name, and I didn't want him to think I was just complementing his script for some bullshit reason. Was that the right thing to do...email the writer/director? Who knows, who cares, who knows what the right and wrong things to do are. I'm at a point in my life where I don't care. I mean, I care, but I don't.
