My Holiday...Gave away food

It was wonderful...humbling. My dear friend and I spent Christmas Eve cooking dinner. On Christmas Day we boxed the dinner up and drove around Hollywood giving them away to the homeless. Very interesting experience. First, it rained yesterday, so it was a little challenging finding people out.

This first man we came upon said that he didn't believe in Christmas, and that he wanted to "off" himself. Wow! We gave him a plate and a Merry Christmas anyway.

The second man we approached was at a 711. The one on Santa Monica and Las Palmas. There were actually two guys. Anyway, "Merry Christmas, would you like a plate to eat?" "No, Do you have any money?" Yes! That is actually what he said.

Fortunately, those were the only weird things that went on. We drove around for sometime trying to find people roaming around in the rain. When we were down to our last box of food, when we cam across the underpass of the 101 freeway, and what do we see???? About 15 people trying to keep dry from the rain. We could not give 1 box of food to 1 person of 15, so we drove around a little to more to find one more person.
