Well today is the first day... My new day. I'm happy. Salem, Oregon is not the best town. It's really dreary here, but ya know.. I can sit here in my hotel room and get so much work done. It feels good to be doing what I love, and do best, and getting paid pretty well to do it.
I didn't get cast in the film I was desperately wanted to be cast in, "Peep World". That film would have really broken a few barriers, because it wasn't written for an African American Woman. In fact, I think that I was the only African American Woman to read for it. Well, I don't think I was cast anyway. My manager says an offer was sent out already. I wont let it get me down. There is something better waiting for me. Plus I'm working now. I need to focus on this job, and enjoy my time here.
