I ran into a friend of mine who has been on the grind as a writer and producer for years. He has been working at Target and freelancing for a top rated t.v. show. And finally...it happened. He got a chance to write a full episode! The show aired last night, and I can't express how inspired I am by his achievement.
He never allowed his temporary situation to determine his future. He kept pushing until the day came that he got his chance to shine. I am sure this is only the beginning, and he will take this victory and run with it.
Let this be a lesson, never give up on what you know you are supposed to do in life. The day you give up is the day it happens.
