Don't forget about those in your front yard.. A Thanksgiving Note

As we count down to my fav time of the year, I'm sure all of you out there in cyberland are preping for giving,( Meals on Weel, My Friend's House, The Los Angeles Mission), and countless other organizations that are digging their way into your hearts. And that's wonderful! Doing for others is something that should be done all year round and especially on the day of Thanks and Giving.

Let us also remember those who reside in our own front yards.. You know who I'm talking about... Your neighbor who lost his job three months ago and will probably not have thanksgiving dinner this year...cold pizza for him. Your cousin who has three children and no money to buy a turkey dinner for the kids this year, so will settle for Ramen Noodles.

Giving...such a beautiful thing, and not only for the receiver. Very often those in our backyards get so much more from us than those staring us dead our the face.
