There is a yiddish expression:

 If you see a man on the street and he says "i tried but I didn't succeed" Don't believe him! And if you meet another man on the street who says, " I never tried but I succeeded" Don't believe HIM! But if you meet yet another man who says..."I tried and I succeeded!" DO believe him. Sometimes when you can't go direct...you must find a way to go over, around, under or even through!
